The actor who started out as the dreamy guy in “Kaho na pyaar hai” to the mighty Mughal emperor in “Jodha Akbar” has no reason to look back.
After the completion and unwanted publicity (or not?, pun intended) of the new movie “Kites”,the actor has another kite in the sky,no not a sequel to the movie but a new one titled Guzaarish where the actor will be paired against the Indian-International beauty,Aishwaraya Rai Bacchhan.
Reports are that the green eyed Greek God will be shooting some pretty intense scenes with the the super model turned actress Monikangana Dutta.Sanjay leela Bhansali who is directing the new film made it clear to the duo that he wants an intense chemistry between the two.Monikangana Dutta will be playing former love interest of Hrithik Roshan and there will be plenty of lip locking scenes which has made the new comer quite uncomfortable but thanks to lovely wife Suzanne Roshan, who by the way knows about these intimate scenes had a little conversation with the actress to calm her nerves.
There will not be any kissing scenes between Hrithik Roshan and Aishwaraya although decided earlier but dropped later. The intimate scenes will be shot in Goa in January during the film’s next schedule.
Another interesting thing to look forward to in the movie is the it will see the actors testing their vocal chords.Yes you heard it right,Hrithik and Aishwaraya will be singing in the movie. Moreover, the duo is learning portugese for the film,interesting..aint it?
Hrithik plays a paraplegic suffering from motor and sensory malfunctioning of the lower limbs,Aishwaraya Rai plays his nurse. The chemistry between the two is the one to watch out for after their success as a couple in Dhoom-2 and Jodha Akbar.
Hrithik Roshan has mostly avoided controversies. But it’s tough task to have a spotless image if you’re a superstar, in the glamour world. Recently, Hrithik and his wife Suzanne had to deal with rumours of a split, thanks to an alleged affair with his Kites co-star Barbara Mori.
But that’s not all.
Hrithik has found himself in hot waters every once in a while involving some renowned ladies.
We take a look back.
Alleged affair with Barbara Mori
It started with the liplock the two lead actors shot for the film. While Basu wanted to retain it in the film, Hrithik‘s dad and the film’s producer Rakesh Roshan decided to edit it out. According to rumours, there were quite a few steamy love scenes in the film as well, and Roshan Sr. was asked to leave the sets during its shooting, as Hrithik wasn’t comfortable filming it with his father watching.
The grapevine had it that Hrithik started taking special interest in Barbara, and spent a lot of time in her makeup van. It was also said that the actor had joined Barbara’s family on a trip to Amby Valley, on the outskirts of Mumbai.
Finally, it was reported that Suzanne had shifted to her parents’ home, and the couple had spilt. The Roshans immediately released a statement claiming that they were still together, and had shifted to Suzanne‘s residence, as their own home was being renovated. While it may be true, there’s rarely any smoke without fire.
Hrithik Ashwarirya - Dhoom kiss
Before Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai starred in Jodhaa Akbar, they made a great pair in the big hit, Dhoom 2. And not without controversy.
At the premiere of Dhoom 2, the Bachchans were upset to see a liplock between Hrithik and their to-be bahu. Abhishek knew of the kissing scene but watching it on big screen was a different ball game, and not one that he took kindly.
When his engagement with Ash was announced a few weeks later, Amitabh Bachchan requested Yash Raj Films to edit the kissing scene.
When the film released in November, a lawyer from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, named Sudhir Kumar Ojha, filed a PIL against the scene, citing obscenity. However, no action was taken against the stars.
The Hrithik-Kareena affair
Hrithik and Kareena were paired opposite each other for the first time in Yaadein, and romance blossomed since then. However, Hrithik went on to marry his childhood sweetheart Suzanne.
He continued to act with Kareena in such films like Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Main Prem Ki Diwani and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. But their closeness soon got to Suzanne, and Papa Roshan instructed Hrithik not to work with Kareena again.
Since then, the two have never worked together. Zoya Akhtar almost landed a casting coup when Hrithik and Kareena were supposed to act in her film, Kismet Talkies. The film, however, never took off.
In a span of some odd nine years, Hrithik Roshan, the young man an adorable actor has created a sizeable dent in the popularity rating of the Khans. Hrithik finally exploded the myth that the Khans were invincible. Success gave him the privilege to work with filmmakers like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rahul Rawail, Randhir Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Raj Kanwar, Indra Kumar, Karan Johar, Yash Chopra and Tanuja Chandra .Have a look at the body of work, actor Hrithik Roshan has produced to back him.

As child artiste
Hrithik and Aishwarya sizzled the screen when they came together in the crook versus police thriller Dhoom 2 and they also stole the show in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodhaa Akbar, a film which delved into the private world of the Mughal emperor Akbar and his wife Jodhabai. Both the films saw good box office draws.
There has been no confirmation of this piece of news, but the buzz in B town is strong enough. Bhansali’s this film is expected to go on the floor by this July. If the news is true, then this could be Hrithikand Ash’s third film together after Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar.
Their chemistry was flagrant in both films and Bhansali must be counting on that to do the trick for his next untitled venture. It is supposed to be a romantic tale penned by the director himself. Of course, Bhansali and Ash have worked together before in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, probably the biggest hit of Ash’s career. It will be a
first time for him and Hrithik though.
Ash,who is currently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Ravana is expected to formally sign the film soon. Hrithik is already done with the shoot schedule of Kites and is pretty much touched with the script of the movie.
This mature love story will star Ash and Hrithik. But, we will have to wait for an official announcement on this one.
Hrithik is talented, atheletic, brave and enthusiastic. He is at par with Hollywood biggies like Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford. Hrithik gave a dazzling performance in Dhoom 2 . He prepared himself for the multi starrer sequel to Dhoom titled Dhoom 2 very well.Well, from the looks of it to stunts and everything else, preparing for this role wasn’t easy. On one side there was gaining weight for Krrish so that he could manage all his super hero stunts easily, on the other side he had to transform himself to play a negative character (which by the way he is playing for the first time) along with Aishwarya in Dhoom. This transformation consisted of streaking his locks blonde and losing weight to about 12 pounds on Aditya Chopra‘s insistence so that he suits his character perfectly. Being a perfectionist that Duggu is, one just cannot stop marveling as to how easily he moulds himself to suit the essence and persona of his role in Dhoom 2. The much talked about film Dhoom 2 was bigger and better than its prequel Dhoom.
Hrithik did a number of dangerous stunts in the film. He underwent training in everything from roller-blading, sand boarding and bike stunts. He also took some time off to learn snow-boarding in Dubai but then the perfectionist Hrithik says that he didn’t get enough time to practice before performing in front of camera. He wished he could have had more time to master it better. Hrithik had a great time doing those scenes. Compared to Krrish, Hrithik thought that the action in Dhoom 2 was far more daring and those are the kind of stunts that were never seen in Hindi films before.
Hrithik’s character in Dhoom 2 can’t exactly be called a Villain. It was rather a grey character. The star cast of the film included Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Bipasha Basu and Rimi Sen. But, Hrithik was all over, all the way. He carried the whole film on his shoulders.
Bravo…Hrithik – you were the scene-stealer in Dhoom 2!!!
